ASABA/Nigeria: The Most Beautiful Queen in Nigeria HRM Anita Ossai has been commended by the Delta State Government for seeking to add value to humanity.
This commendation was given today by the Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu while playing host to the Most Beautiful Queen in Nigeria and her management on a courtesy visit in His office at the Ministry’s headquarters, Asaba.
Aniagwu said that he was pleased with the direction the queen and her management were looking to as regards the group of people she described as ‘The Vulnerable members of the society which includes the aged women, less privileged children and widows.
Speaking further, the commissioner pledged his support and that of the ministry financially and as well as free publicity. He said Ministry will ensure that members of the public are informed about the two-day outreach the Queen is embarking on in the state.
Earlier, the Most Beautiful Queen in Nigeria, Miss Anita Ossai while delivering her address, thanked the commissioner for his hard work and also for being an exemplary leader in society.
On the essence of the visit, she said that it was to familiarize herself and to brief him on her empowerment programme, tagged: ‘Reconnecting with the ageing women in the rural communities of Delta State.’
Highlight of the visit was the presentation of an award of excellence to the Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu.
