ASABA/Nigeria: As Christians across Nigeria celebrate Easter, Senator Ned Nwoko has urged citizens and leaders to draw strength from the season’s message of renewal, while acknowledging the economic and social challenges confronting many households.
In a message to mark the celebration, the lawmaker reflected on the deeper significance of Easter, describing it as a symbol of resilience and the promise of new beginnings in the face of adversity.
He noted that many Nigerian families are currently grappling with harsh economic realities, expressing empathy for those enduring difficult times and calling for a collective response to the nation’s challenges.
“Easter reminds us that difficult moments do not define the end of the story,” Nwoko said, stressing that periods of hardship should inspire patience, determination, and responsive leadership.
The senator observed that Nigeria is presently navigating a critical phase of transition, shaped by ongoing reforms and policy adjustments, adding that while the full benefits may not yet be evident, perseverance remains essential.
