Educationist In Delta Reiterates Commitment to Duty

OZORO/Nigeria: The Chief Of Education (CIE) in charge of Oshimili South Local Government Area of Delta State, Djoma Emiliana has reiterated her commitment to leaving behind endearing legacies specifically in the area discharging her official duties.

Djoma Emiliana stated this at Ozoro in Isoko North Local Government Area while receiving an award as the most sports-friendly CIE of the year in the state from the National Association for Physical and Health Education, Creation Sports and Dance (NAPIER-SD).

She pledged to continue to improve on the achievements of her predecessor for the benefits of humanity and the education system in particular.

She hinted that she won the award from online voting for all the Chief Inspectors of Education across the 25 Local Government Areas.

The CIE, who commended the organisers of the award for the honour done her, stated that the gesture would spur her to contribute more towards realising her mandate as the Chief Inspector of Education for Oshimili South.

While describing the award as a very significant achievement in her career, Djoma Emiliana used the opportunity to thank her colleagues for their collective efforts in driving the education sector to a greater height.

She also lauded the State Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu, her counterpart in Primary Education, Chief Sunday Onoriode, and the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Augustine Oghoro as well as other stakeholders in the education sector in Oshimili South for giving her the friendly environment to discharge her duties at all times.
