Election 2015:Ukwuani Foundation Union roll out its support for PDP

The non-partisan organization that was formed about 78years ago to promote the Cultural heritage of our people, and for the upliftment and development of the Ndokwa/Ukwuani nation stormed Delta state last week for a sensitization tour /political Rally themed “PDP ALL THE WAY”.
According to its President, Chief Joseph Olise, the decision to fully support all the candidates of the ruling Political party (PDP) is borne out of the fact that the Ndokwa/Ukwuani nationality is the most marginalized area in Nigeria & has not benefited from the dividends of democracy – No good roads, No higher Institutions, No good hospitals, Unemployed youths etc. despite its contribution to the Nigerian nation through Oil. He cited our support for the opposition parties in the previous elections as one of the reasons for the non-presence of the government in our land.
We have been fully supporting the opposition parties in previous elections and has nothing to show for it hence the resolution to work with the ruling Political party (PDP) or better still, the government of the day.
Also, in the interview the U.F.U President granted to the Delta State Broadcasting Service (DBS) that covered the event, he stated unequivocally that none of the Union’s (U.F.U) members is contesting for any political position in this forthcoming general elections and none of the aspirants has given U.F.U a dime to bankroll this sensitization tour/Rally. The tour was fully sponsored by U.F.U.
