ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State House of Assembly Elect, and Member of the State Assembly representing Aniocha North, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi has described the Delta State Governor-Elect and Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori as a record breaker.
Hon. Emeka Nwaobi discloses this to the Delta State House Correspondents at his official residence in Asaba, the state capital.
He said” Rt. Hon. Oborevwori has achieved so many things as Speaker, and he has as well broken many records as the longest-serving speaker of Delta State House of Assembly and has performed credibly well more than his predecessors in terms of managing human beings, and I believe he is going to be a good Governor”.
“The Speakership position he held for about 6 years now has prepared him to be a good Governor in Delta State”.
He further said” I see a new Governor that is going to show so many administrative Qualities, and I am hopeful he will consolidate on the strides of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, and with his MORE Agenda which says he intends to do more”.
Hon. Nwaobi went through memory Lane when in January 2022, he stood up on the floor of the House to enjoin all Deltans to support the Speaker to emerge Governor of Delta State.
His words, ” I am the happiest man on earth because the Speaker’s emergence as Governor-Elect has actually exonerated me. ”
” I recalled that in January 2022, I stood up on the floor of the House and enjoined all Deltans to support Mr. Speaker to emerge the next Governor of Delta State and enumerated my reasons for saying so, which is ; he has achieved so many things and has broken many records that actually trended all over the place, social media and around the globe. ”
” I remember some persons called me and ask me why I thought he was going to win the PDP primaries, and I told them I was confident he will win, and when he actually win, Deltans Nick name me the Man who saw tomorrow. I am very happy that, that thing I saw in a year and some months ago has come to pass. So I have no regrets about what I did at that time. ”
“Today we give God the glory that all our efforts have yielded positive fruits. ”
He congratulate the Governor-Elect on behalf of his family and his entire constituents for achieving this milestone, although, he know it was not easy, he believed that when God says yes in your life, nobody can say no, and he gives God glory.
Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi also took time to thank the good people of Aniocha North for electing him back to the house for the third time, despite the defections of the people around him to the opposition party, day to the Elections, the Aniocha North people stood firm with him and remain resolute and God was there for the people and indeed, God proved himself and gave him landslide victory with wide margin.
