ASABA/Nigeria: The enforcement of Delta Local Governments’ Unified Permits, will start on Tuesday 1st February, 2022.
This was contained in a statement by HASCKEFF GEE Nigeria Limited, the sole revenue consultant to Delta State Chapter of Association of Local of Nigeria (ALGON) in Asaba on Monday 24th, 2022.
According to the statement, the enforcement of waste sanitation basket permit, motor pack permit, loading and offloading permit, mobile sales/supply permit, liquor and all other mobile stickers’ emblem permits across Delta State for the year 2022 that was authorized by the Delta State Chapter of Association of Local Government of Nigeria to collect the permits also known as Delta LGs Unified Permits.
The statement, noted that removal of batteries and plate numbers from vehicles, do not fall within the purview of the license granted to HASCKEF GEE Nigeria Limited.
It added that its officials are uniformly kitted with verifiable means of identification.
The statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer of HASCKEF GEE Nigeria Limited, Mr. Kenneth George and Coordinator of Enforcement, Hon. Peter Eyen, again warned vehicle owners against dealing with quacks and they should ensure that they obtain the Delta LG Unified Permits in the 25 Local Government Council Secretariats.
The statement further warned owners of commercial vehicles and companies operating in Delta State not to obtain permits from other states
“Doing so will lead to payment of double levies,” it added.
HASCKEF GEE Nigeria Limited, urged persons or firms selling similar permits from other states, to stay clear of Delta State
It warned that security agencies have been placed on red alert to deal with impostors.
It be recalled that Faith based organizations such as churches and mosques, were exempted from the Delta LG Unified Permits for 2022 and that Delta State Chapter ALGON, had given HASCKEF GEE Nigeria Limited, the sole authority to print, sell and manage the permits, in-line with the 1999 Constitution as amended by the Levies and Taxes.
