ASABA/Nigeria: As the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State opens its doors to aspirants for the 2023 Houses of Assembly elections, one of the frontline aspirants from Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Engr. Philip Ugbomah, has expressed his readiness to serve the people of the area through good legislative representation.
The young entrepreneur, who through his creativity in the construction industry, and until last week was a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Project Monitoring and Evaluation, said he will join the leaders of the local government, who will be leading from the front to attract good governance to the people, , through what he called a servant kind of representation.
Engr. Ugbomah, who spoke after the collection of his expression and nomination forms at the party’s secretariat in Asaba, said the he is one of the most acceptable aspirants in the area, and he will not fail the party and people of Ndokwa East Constituency.
“I will give my people a servant kind of representation, devout of any political affiliation, this is so because I am one of the most acceptable person in the constituency, across board”. He said.
“I know how they feel, what they go through as a people, and surely give them the best, through synergy with executive at local government level, and state, they will fill the impact of my being there, and they will be happy for it.”
On the youths from the area, he stated that they have to put themselves together to achieve a better place for their growth. He pointed out that every nation strength lies in the youths, especially those who are ready to work, and provide service.
“The strength of every nation lies in the youths, and that is the youths who are ready to work and provide service. He called them to get themselves to prepare, and advocates that they should be ready to have a legitimate earning for their living.”
He called on the youths, just like himself to distinguish themselves by the work they do.
The House of Assembly hopeful resign recently from his appointed position as an aide to the governor to prepare for the 2023 election.
