ENSG Evacuates Indigenes Studying In Jos University

ENUGU/Nigeria: The Enugu State Government had followed steps of other states in the country, to rescue students from the University of Jos, who are from the State.

The Special Adviser to the State Governor on Students Affair, Mr. Chidi  Ilogebe, Stated this on Monday, August 23, 2021 in Enugu.

According to him, no fewer than 135 indigenes of the state studying in the University, from the crises rocking the state.

He said that the gesture by the state government became necessary following the recent violent crisis that erupted in Jos.

The special adviser said that the students were evacuated from Jos on Aug. 22, and had gone back to their respective homes and other destinations.

He said that 37 of the students returned to Enugu and 28 were conveyed to Abuja to join their families.

He said that the rest were taken to their various homes within Plateau and its environs based on their requests.
