ESISO: “Chinye Has the Capacity for Leadership”

ISSELE-UKU/Nigeria: The Delta State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olorogun Barr. Kingsley Esiso, has confidently endorsed Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye as the party’s candidate for the Aniocha North Local Government Area chairmanship in the upcoming council elections. Speaking at a well-attended rally in Issele-Uku on Monday, July 1, 2024, Esiso emphasized Chinye’s capabilities and commitment to advancing the region’s development.

“Emma Chinye has the capacity for leadership. He is a man of competence and ability,” Esiso declared. “As my friend, I can attest to his passion and dedication to delivering tangible benefits to the people of Aniocha North if elected.”

The rally featured several notable figures, including former Deputy Governor Chief BSC Elue, who reaffirmed Aniocha North as a PDP stronghold and called for collective efforts to ensure Chinye’s victory. “Aniocha North is a safe haven for the PDP,” Elue stated. “I urge everyone to join hands in supporting Hon. Emma Chinye and our other candidates in the forthcoming election.”

Former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, praised the unity among Aniocha North leaders in endorsing Chinye. “This is the first time in a long while that our leaders have spoken in one voice,” Elumelu said. “Emma Chinye is a humble and approachable leader who will represent everyone. It is our resolve to deliver all wards to the PDP.”

Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi, Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly and Chairman of the PDP Campaign Organization in Aniocha North, expressed confidence in the party’s readiness to win decisively. “Everyone in Aniocha North is eager for change and believes in the PDP’s ability to bring it,” Nwaobi asserted.

Dr. Charles Ochei, the PDP Chairman in Aniocha North, welcomed the state leadership and reiterated the party’s commitment to a resounding victory. “We have done it before and are poised to do it again,” Ochei assured.

In a ceremonial highlight, Esiso presented the PDP flag to Chinye and his vice-chairmanship candidate, Lady Clara Nneka Dibia, solidifying their candidacy for the July 13 council elections.

The rally saw a significant turnout of prominent leaders, including Chief Nkem Okwuofu, Chief (Barr.) Mrs. Josephine Ada Kachikwu, Dr. Chuks Nwaebuni, Chief Dan Okenyi, Chief Emma Eboh, Prince Uzoma Idaboh, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, Hon. Daniel Odinigwe Odigie, Comrade Ifeanyi Egwunyenga, Ogbuefi Nnamdi Mohayem, Sir Jossy Honnah, Dr. Michael Nwoko, Hon. Dr. Jaunty Okwudi, and former Local Government Executive Chairman Hon. Kevin Okwechime.
