Eze Ndi Igbo Celebrates 70 Years With A Flood Of Encomiums

WARRI/Nigeria: It was a gathering of men and women of timber and calibre at the palatial home of Eze Ndi Igbo, Delta south and Delta central zones, His Highness, Sir Peter Chukwu, as he marked his 70th birthday, today (Saturday, 24th March 2018) in a grand style.
Decked in beautiful royal attire, and accompanied by his beautiful wife, Eze (Sir) Peter Chukwu electrified the arena as he stepped out majestically to appreciate a motley crowd of cheering guests who poured encomiums on him.
As the occasion progressed eminent personalities took turn to eulogise the septuagenarian for his stout, sterling and enduring legacies.
Chief Ogbuanu, also a septuagenarian, described Eze Peter Chukwu as honest and truthful Igbo patriot and leader of inestimable pedigree. Saying that the royal father has unquantifiable love for humanity, a rare virtue that stands him out as a likeable Igbo leader.
In the same vein, the prominent Chiefs of Igbo extraction extolled the innate and emulative virtues of Eze Chukwu, saying they are strongly behind him on his throne to ensure he succeeds in all fronts.
The Peoples Club of Nigeria International gave a towering remark on the rare qualities of Eze Chukwu of which he was described loftily as a staunch member of the club whose contribution to the growth of the club is immeasurable.
Saying, “We look forward to emulating his towering pedigree.”
Another personality, an octogenerian, Noble M. Onyeama, was full of praises for Eze Chukwu as he prayed for God’s protection upon his life.
Speaking eloquently, Nnaemeka Louis Anyaogu, prominent son-in-law, lauded the legacies of his father-in-law, Eze Chukwu. He described the royal father as a humble personality of high and unadulterated repute. Saying, “We are going to celebrate him more when he clocks 80 years. He is an amiable father-in-law of noble personality”.
Speaking on behalf of the children, Mr. Avalon Ibe Chukwu described his father (Eze Peter Chukwu) as a godly man and an epitome of excellence. Adding, “He is indeed, a lovely father who loves his children with great passion, and would do everything to put a smile on the lips of all. He is a great patriot and a father to all.”
The Knights of St. John also gave a lofty remark on their own, Eze (Sir) Peter Chukwu.
The highpoint of the occasion was cutting of the 70th birthday cake by Eze (Sir) Peter Chukwu who was joined by his wife, children, family members and friends.
The emcee of the occasion was Chief Charles Iwuchukwu, ‘Ugoejiagamba’, whose oratoral cadence was richly deployed to the admiration of the guests.
In attendance were Hon. Michael Ezeh, President General, Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, Delta south and Delta central; Chief Ogbuanu; Arch Bishop Dr. James  Okechukwu; Comr. Festus Ukeje, SA to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa; Chief Eze Godday Chukwudi, the ‘Ezesinachi I’ of Enugu state; Nnaemeka Louis Anyaogu, Alias Akajugo; Chief Charles Iwuchukwu, ‘Ugoejiagamba’; and other personalities from all walks of life, including prominent Igbo Chiefs and illustrious sons and daughters of Arondizuogu commumity.
