Kwale: The finals of the now established annual cultural beauty pageant of Ndokwa nation, the Nwa Ada Ndokwa in Delta State will hold tomorrow, December 27, 2016, in Kwale, Ndokwa west LGA at the Ogbe Travellers Annex.
According to the Initiator of the program, Miss Valeen Oseh, all arrangements for a successful final, with the sales of forms, audition and the finalists selected had being done.
However, unlike the previous four editions which was held in Obiaruku and Umutu, both in Ukwuani LGA to Kwale, this year’s edition has witnessed many endorsements from the state government, sons and daughters of Ndokwa, and organisations.
The competitors are usually named after their community like Nwa Ada Aboh, Nwa Ada Utagba Ogbe, Nwa Ada Ebedei, and the winner will be the Nwa Ada Ndokwa to reign for one year with her pet project for that period.
The beauty pageant is one of the recent channels that the young in Ndokwa land is using to re-discover the tradition and culture of the people. Other similar annual shows are the Ogbondokwa carnival, Ndokwa Talent Quest, and many others.
