SAPELE/Nigeria: The Flag Off Officer Commanding Logistics (FOC), Rear Admiral M O Olotu, today paid a familiarization visit to the Naval Engineering College, Ogorode Sapele.
He was received on arrival by the Commandant of the College, Commodore N F Damtong with a welcome parade and inspection of uniform Naval Officers.
In a welcome address, the Base Commandant said the school is pleased to have the FOC as her ” August” visitor and that all is well in the college.
Damtong said some project are however, still ongoing, worthy to note is the new artificer block that is meant to create accommodation to students.
Highlights of the visit was the inspection of facilities at the Engineering College.
Amongst facilities inspected were: The Artificer block, the Automobile Mechanic Workshop, the Garment Factory where their Uniforms are sown, the Sapele logistics depot among others.
At the end of inspection, Rear Admiral Olotu expressed satisfaction at what is on ground, and Express hope that the college can work with the Naval Command in moving the Nigerian Navy forward.
