WARRI/Nigeria: The immediate past governor of Delta State and one of the prominent leaders in Warri North Local Government Area, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, has described the Chairman of Warri North Local Government Council, Honourable Smart Asekutu has a bridge between the Itsekiris and Ijaws.
Dr Uduaghan made this known when he paid an unscheduled visit to the Warri chairman at his private residence in Sapale.
The former governor while commending Hon. Asekutu for his purposeful leadership as the Chairman of Warri North, congratulated him on the recent awards of excellence given to him by the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Developmental Affairs.
Hon. Asekutu, on his part appreciated the former governor for the visit, and thanked Warri North leaders for their support of his administration.
He further added that he would continue to impact on the people through more developmental policies and projects by his administration.
The Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Small and Medium Enterprises Development and daughter to Dr. Uduaghan, Comrade Orode Uduaghan, was also in attendance during the visit.
