Former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan to Inaugurate Delta State High Court Complex

ASABA/Nigeria: In a symbolic gesture underscoring the intrinsic link between justice and leadership, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR), Nigeria’s former President, has been invited by Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, to inaugurate the Delta State High Court Complex. The inauguration is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

The announcement was made through a statement signed by Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, the Commissioner for Information, and made available to Ndokwa Reporters.

This event marks part of the celebration of Governor Oborevwori’s first year in office, which officially began on May 29, 2024. The commemoration kicked off with a vibrant Praise and Worship musical extravaganza featuring some of the nation’s most renowned Gospel artistes and Music Ministers.

During the first anniversary celebration, Governor Oborevwori reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to the advancement and transformation of Delta State. He promised the citizens a state where they would experience the abundant dividends of democracy.

As part of the journey into the second year, the inauguration of the State High Court Complex is part of the governor’s plans for his administration’s second year.

The imposing structure, standing five stories tall, is equipped with six conference halls, courtrooms, holding cells, and lounges for both judges and lawyers.

The statement further said that the Governor is guided by his MORE Agenda,and assures Deltans that he will continue to champion their interests with unwavering determination and resolve.
