SAPELE/Nigeria: Delta State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under the Chairmanship of Kingsley Esiso has been commended for upholding internal party democracy and responsible leadership.
2019 Ethiope Federal Constituency hopeful and Chief Economic Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Barrister George Orogun made the commendation in a statement; wherein he described Esiso as a proactive party chairman with uncommon political sagacity, integrity and high sense of humour.
Orogun noted that the recent emergence of the State Governor, His Excellency Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa as the 2019 consensus governorship candidate of PDP, attests to the unity of purpose, cordial relationships between the party leadership and the entire political structure from top to bottom, reflected in the smooth flow of operations; making Delta PDP first in Nigeria, to adopt incumbent governor as its candidate ahead of party primaries.
“I am highly elated and humbly congratulate my boss the Governor of Delta State for emerging as our great party’s 2019 consensus candidate ahead of Guber primaries.
“I feel like break-dancing. He deserves the endorsement when viewed side by side his monumental achievements in office within three years and still counting.
“Deltans are happy to have elected Gov Okowa in 2015. As a privileged member of State Exco, I make bold to say that the Smart Governor has uncommon passion for the development of Delta State.
“Gov Okowa is indeed a mysterious workaholic leader which is why this administration has achieved so much and grew rapidly in infrastructure development, job and wealth creation to become a role model in human capital development and good governance.
“Okowa’s administration has a clear vision on how to get things done and the best way possible; rooted on a visionary leadership of the governor who kept members of his cabinet and the entire state workforce on their toes 24/7 to ensure that the progressive train of socioeconomic remodelling and infrastructure development of the three senatorial districts were given the time, energy and resources required to garner overall development and prosperity for all Deltans.
