OBIARUKU/Nigeria: The Aide to the Delta State Governor on Religious Matters, Bishop Greatman Nmalagu, has revealed that the state governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has been divinely given the ticket for a second tenure to rule the state.
Bishop Nmalagu revealed this in a media chat weekend after a prayer session in Obiaruku, Ukwuani Local Government Area.
He said that by divine revelation and physical manifestations of proves, that he is continuing as the Executive Governor of Delta State abound everywhere, and anybody coming out from any political party to contest for the office will not succeed.
“Anybody coming out from any political party to contest for the position is practically wasting his time, money and energy. God by His grace has given the second tenure to him, come 2019”.
He said that God wants the governor to continue so that the vision of prosperity for all Deltans will be realised, and grow to the level that Deltans will be joyful, as God had given him the mind to do good things for them.
“When God wants to bless a man he gives him the mind to keep faithfully doing good to people. This is exactly, what God has been doing in the life of Governor Okowa. He gave him the mind to be doing good to all Deltans, even at the strong face of the recession biting very hard on the government and Nigerians across the Nation”.
Bishop Nmalagu said despite the lean resources accruing to the state, he has continued the development of the state, constructing roads, building peace across the state, empowering the youths through skill acquisition and given them starter packs and money to make them potential entrepreneurs, as well supporting farmers to improve their farming yields.
The Executive Assistant on Religious Matters pointed out that because of Okowa’s penchant to develop the state and her people, all religious groups and bodies are praying for him to succeed, and comeback for second tenure.
“His continuity will further bring prosperity to the state which will positively affect the lives of all Deltans.”
He praised the governor for the recent decision of the state government stopping the acceptance fee which was introduced by the authorities of the Delta State University, (DELSU), because of his love for God and the people.
“To enable parents afford the training of their children in all Delta state owned tertiary institutions he bluntly refused increment of fees. He is a man who loves God and people”.
“He is a friend to the masses. God is using his good leadership style, developmental strides and creation of job opportunities to provide solutions to the problems affecting Nigerians”.
“God has approved him for second tenure and Deltans will surely continue to enjoy his administration. Anybody, having money to contribute to the wellbeing of Delta state should meaningfully make good investments”. He concluded.
