God is Good Motors Call Survival Passengers A Week After Accident

LAGOS/Nigeria: In less than twenty-four hours after the report about a journalist, fourteen others narrowly escaping death in God Is Good Motors (GIGM) as company fails to compensate passengers went viral, as published by www.ndokwareporters.com, the bus company has put a call through to survival passengers of the accident.

Mr. Dayo, who claimed to be calling from the company corporate office in Lekki, Lagos state on behalf of the company ask about the welfare of the passengers and said the company got the list of lost item listed by the passengers and is working out modalities to see to the survival passengers.

“On behalf of GIGM we call to know about your health status and to know if you sustain serious injury from the accident. We want to inform you that we got the list of lost items submitted at our Iyana –Ipaja branch and we are working on compensating you. You will have to bear with us as it will take up till mid-January 2018 to sort out your issues. Thank you for patronizing GIGM and happy New Year in advance” he said.

It could be recall that the air-conditioned commercial bus with registration number BKW 422 XA was conveying passengers to Abuja-Jos from Iyana-Ipaja Park in Lagos on 23rd December, 2017 had a break failure around 1:15pm at Ijebu Ode, Ogun state and burnt to ashes.

Aside the international passports, certificates, vital documents, cash and other valuables worth thousands of naira lost to the accident, the passengers are yet to recover from the psychological trauma.
