Asaba: The Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has been a blessing to the jobless, and the entire humanity according to his Executive Assistants on Religious Matters, Bishop Greatman Nmalagu;
Bishop Nmalagu, who made the statement recently in his Office in Asaba, said the governor has been an instrument, and a change agent to the rapid development of the state, as he had been used to bless many in the state and beyond through his polices.
“He is a real blessing to Deltans, the poor, destitute, jobless, and hopeless, the less-privileged individuals and families”. He said.
According to the aide to the governor, the administration under Okowa had made strides in the repositioning of the state for rapid economic and social development as can be noticed in the various entrepreneurship programmes introduced and had trained about 1044 youths in various areas of economic self-employment, thus contributing to the state economy.
“God is using him to wipe away pains, tears and sorrows from humanity in Delta state and beyond”.
He said that despite the paucity of funds, due especially to the fall from oil prices, he had been able to navigate the ship of the state, to refocus on its grassroots development by involving the people through entrepreneurship programmes. The numerous achievements in the area of health, the road works, education in all sector, security, and the aggressive agricultural development for food security in the state, it shows that Okowa is a blessing to the state.
“Truly, he is a blessing, the blessing of the lord, it maketh rich, and he added no sorrow with it, according to Solomon, in proverb 10:22”.
“Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is truly a blessing from God, and he needs more of our supports to deliver on his promises and SMART Agenda for the state, and Prosperity for All Deltans.” He concluded.
