ASABA/Nigeria: The Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, will today, Thursday, May 31, 2018, flag-off the distribution of oil palm seedlings and other agricultural inputs for 2018 planting season in the State.
According to a statement signed by the State Director of Information, Mr Paul Osahor, the ceremony will hold at the Tree Crop Nursery Unit, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Ejeme-Unor in Aniocha South Local Government Area at 1.00pm prompt.
The statement advised all top government functionaries, Chairmen of Boards and Commissions, Permanent Secretaries, oil palm Growers especially the beneficiaries of oil palm development programme of the Delta State Government and stakeholders in the Delta State Agricultural Development Project, to attend the ceremony and be seated at the venue at 12.30 pm prompt.
It requested the Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council to mobilize the people of the area to ensure a rousing welcome for His Excellency, the Governor.
