Governor Lauds Pere Ama-Okosu for Promoting Unity and Prosperity As He Marks 8th Coronation Anniversary

ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended his warmest congratulations to HRM Couple Mackson Oromoni, Monbene III, the Pere Ama-Okosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom, on the auspicious occasion of his eighth coronation anniversary.

Issuing a statement via his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori lauded the traditional ruler for his unwavering commitment to fostering unity within the Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom.

The governor also seized the opportunity to emphasize the importance of peaceful relations between Ogbe-Ijoh and its neighbouring community, Aladja. He urged Monbene III to further invigorate the economic prosperity of both Ogbe-Ijoh and Aladja.

Governor Oborevwori who hold Monbene III in high regard, described him as “a respected monarch with a profound love for his people.” Under his reign, there has been a discernible improvement in the lives of his subjects and the overall well-being of the kingdom, the Governor noted.

Further extolling the virtues of Monbene III, the Governor acknowledged the monarch’s role as a source of inspiration for his citizens, igniting their passion for good governance and a revitalized sense of civic responsibility.

He implored Monbene III to persevere in his tireless efforts to ensure the well-being of his people and the enduring peace of the land.

He expressed his felicitations on behalf of the Government and people of Delta State, stating, “On behalf of the Government and people of Delta, I warmly congratulate His Royal Majesty, Couple Mackson Oromoni, Monbene III, the Pere Ama-Okosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom, on his eighth coronation anniversary.”

He continued, “I join the people of Ogbe-Ijoh in honoring a great king and sending him my best wishes for continued strength, wisdom, and good health as he continues to be the traditional and cultural leader of his people.”

The Governor concluded by commending Monbene III for preserving the culture and tradition of the Ogbe-Ijoh people through his commitment to harmony, socio-cultural cooperation, and communal living.
