ASABA/Nigeria: Amb. Oke Idawene, the Convener of the Integrity Group in Delta State, expressed optimism about Governor Sherriff Oborevwori’s administration, hailing the caliber of nominees for commissioner positions. He believes that the state is on track to witness the realization of true dividends of democracy under Governor Oborevwori’s leadership.
He expressed this in a press conference held in Asaba.
Idawene commended Governor Oborevwori for promptly releasing the list of his commissioners within the legally stipulated 60-day timeframe. He also extended congratulations to the nominees for their inclusion in the list and expressed his confidence in their capabilities. According to him, the people of Delta State made the right choice by electing Governor Oborevwori.
Speaking about the Integrity Group’s mission, Idawene emphasized its dedication to promoting the MORE agenda of Governor Oborevwori’s administration. The group stands as a fervent advocate of “Quality Assurance Leadership” at all levels of government, ready to support the nominees in fulfilling their duties successfully.
The list of nominees for the state executive council includes notable individuals from various backgrounds. Among those nominated are Mr. Aniagwu Charles, Hon. Joan Onyemaechi Ada Anioma, Comr. Jerry Ehiwario, Odinigwe Idigie Daniel, Micheal Ifeanyi Anoka, Hon. Barr Princess Pat A. Ajudua, Barrister Funyei Manager, Angele Godknows, Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu, Perez Omoun Esq., Uduaghan Orode, Isaac Tosan Wilkie, Oligida Samuel, Prof. Tonukari Johnbull, and Jamani Tommy Ejiro.
Other nominees on the list are Rose Ezenwu, Hon. Onoriode Agofure, Olorogun Oyibode Vincent, Emamusi Obiodeh, Chief Tilije Fidelis Okenmor, Etagherure Ejiro Terry, Agbateyimiro Isaac Weyinmi, Sonny Akpororkimo Ekedayen, Darlington Ijeh, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, and Hon. Izeze Rume Yakubu Reuben.
