ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Obi of Owa Kingdom, HRM Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor II, OON, on his 65th coronation anniversary.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, the Governor lauded the monarch for his peaceful and compassionate leadership, which has significantly impacted the people of Owa Kingdom and Delta State. Oborevwori praised Obi Efeizomor’s enduring dedication to harmony, describing him as a symbol of peace and effective governance.
“Under your reign, Owa Kingdom has witnessed remarkable growth in human capital and infrastructure, as well as sustained peace,” Oborevwori noted. He highlighted the traditional ruler’s role in fostering unity and development, adding that the monarch’s efforts have contributed greatly to the well-being of his people and the state.
The Governor expressed his gratitude, saying: “On behalf of my family, the government, and the people of Delta, I congratulate you, Your Royal Majesty, Obi (Dr.) Emmanuel Efeizomor II, OON. Your leadership has brought peace and prosperity to Owa Kingdom, and we are grateful for your dedication to promoting peaceful coexistence among your people and their neighbours.”
Oborevwori further acknowledged Obi Efeizomor’s contributions as the former Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, emphasizing his statesmanship and commitment to peace and progress. “Your wise counsel and fatherly guidance have played a vital role in maintaining Delta State as a beacon of peace and stability,” the Governor added.
As the Owa Kingdom celebrates this milestone, Oborevwori commended the monarch’s legacy of service, stating, “Your contributions to the advancement of both your kingdom and Delta State are deeply appreciated, and we thank God Almighty for your life and leadership.”
