Speaking at a post-2023 governorship election meeting of executives and members of the Coalition for Media Politics and Governance (CMPG), Dr. Latimore Oghenesivbe, the Executive Assistant on Communications to the Governor and Head of the State Orientation Bureau, highlighted the monumental achievements of Governor Oborevwori within twelve months in office. Dr. Oghenesivbe emphasized the governor’s unwavering commitment to advancing Delta State in all spheres, with particular attention given to critical sectors such as infrastructure and mega projects.
One of the key projects highlighted is the ongoing Ughelli-Asaba road dualization, aimed at accelerating socioeconomic growth and development in the state. Additionally, the construction of three flyovers, road expansions, and pedestrian bridges at strategic locations underscores the administration’s commitment to transforming Delta State like never before.
