ASABA/Nigeria: A one-time State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Hon Silas Buowe, has openly commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his remarkable commitment to infrastructure development in the state.
Buowe, a former member of the State House of Assembly, representing Isoko South Constituency 2, and a former aspirant for the APC chairmanship in the state, expressed his admiration for the Governor’s bold initiatives in a heartfelt open letter titled “Heartfelt Gratitude for Your Remarkable Commitment to Infrastructure Development.”
Buowe’s commendation comes as Governor Oborevwori unfolds his ambitious “MORE Agenda” for Delta State, showcasing a visionary approach to development that has left political opponents and allies alike in awe.
Notably impressed by Governor Oborevwori’s decision to initiate the construction of flyovers aimed at reshaping Warri, Uvwie, and surrounding areas, Buowe hailed the Governor’s choice of contracting Julius Berger, one of Nigeria’s premier construction firms, to handle these crucial projects.
In his open letter, Buowe emphasized the significance of this decision, stating, “The recent news for the award of contracts for three flyover bridges and road expansion in Warri and Effurun to Julius Berger, a renowned construction giant, is a testament to your dedication to enhancing the infrastructure of our dear state.”
Buowe further lauded Governor Oborevwori’s foresight, recognizing the importance of partnering with esteemed organizations like Julius Berger, known for their exceptional expertise, quality, and timely delivery. He believes that this choice reflects the Governor’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that Delta State receives only the best.
The former APC State Secretary also praised the expected positive impact of these projects on the state, predicting reduced traffic congestion, improved safety, and enhanced connectivity, all contributing to economic growth and a better quality of life for Delta State residents.
