Bishop Greatman Nmalagu
Bishop Greatman Nmalagu, the aide to the state governor on Religious Matters, has called on Deltans going for the 2015 Pilgrimage to the Holy Land of Israel to use the opportunity to pray for the state.
The aide to the governor made the statement on Wednesday, 4/11/2015 in Asaba during the briefing organised by the Christian Welfare Board to educate the intending pilgrims before they embark on the journey.
Bishop Nmalagu reminded the intending pilgrims to see the journey to the holy land as a journey for a spiritual exercise for spiritual purposes and for fervent prayers, as only this can make them undergo a successful pilgrimage.
Speaking further, he called on all Deltans going for the 2015 pilgrimage to pray specially for the state and the governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
According to him, “The state need your prayers, because it is only prayers that the government, under Dr. Okowa can be able to achieve the set target for the state”.
He therefore called on them to make use of all they have to see that the confidence the government imposes on them as ambassadors of the state will not be defeated.
