BURUTU/Nigeria: In a move to foster educational excellence and empower the youth, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, Senior Policy Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, has announced a remarkable scholarship initiative for Pupils of Gbesa Primary School in Bolou-Ojobo.
This inspiring gesture came to light during the conferment of the prestigious chieftaincy title of Bolor-owei of Operemo Kingdom upon the Special Adviser.
The event, held in Operemo within the Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, marked the first coronation anniversary of His Royal Majesty, King (Dr.) Ekiomi Oweiagbe John, Ebenana, the Traditional Ruler of Operemor Kingdom.
Rt. Hon. Solomon, in his address to the pupils witnessing the ceremony, emphasized the paramount importance of education as a pathway to responsible citizenship and success. His admonition underscores a commitment to nurturing the next generation and ensuring their holistic development.
