ASABA: The member representing the Delta State House of Assembly, and the Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Christopher Ochor Ochor, on Thursday, November 26, 2020 was recognised by a political network in the Local Government Area, for his excellent performances within his first year in the office.
The political network, known as the Hon. Eze Edike Political Network, said his efforts in attracting constituency projects to the area, the payment of stipends to more than 100 persons in the area, attention to constituents to offset bills of social engagements, medical, empowerment of about 24 girls, and more than 100 market women, within one year of being in the Assembly is a landmark.
The group which was led to the office of the Deputy Speaker, Hon Eze Edike, presented an award of Excellent Performance to the rt. Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor.
“By our assessment of your performance within this one year, and some months in office, considering all the ongoing projects in secondary and primary schools at Umutu, Obi-Obeti, Amai, Obiaruku, Delta Queens empowerment, Market Women empowerment, monthly payments to ward liaison officers, coordinators and others, huge financial assistance to constituents for marriages, birthdays, child dedications and funerals running into millions of naira monthly, we give you excellent mark, hence we award you this award of Excellence performance.’ They stated.
In his reaction, the Deputy Speaker thanked the group for their recognition of his efforts to for the first one and half years as a member representing Ukwuani Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, and promised them to do more.
