OBIARUKU/Nigeria: The State Coordinator of Team Ibori For Okowa 2019, Hon. Edmond Guanah, has advised Political Appointees and other elected officers in Delta State to see themselves as Ambassadors of the state Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, in their various Local Government Areas.
Hon. Guanah, who gave this advise when the Ukwuani Local Government Area chapter of the body was inaugurated at Obiaruku, headquarters of the council on Thursday, charged them to always make themselves accessible to the people and do things in their individual capacities to consolidate on the Governor’s Smart Agenda as this will help in spreading the good deeds of the Governor.
He charged the newly inaugurated members of the Executive Council to start mobilizing support for the paramount aim of the group which is to return Senator Okowa to Government House in 2019, advising them to go to their various wards and units and continue to spread the good news of the Governor’s achievements and sensitising the people on why the Governor must be re-elected in 2019.
An Adviser of the group, Chief Felix Adanse, who performed the inauguration ceremony, called on the newly elected executives to be steadfast in their dealings and make sure they work assiduously in their various wards and units so the sole aim of the group, which is to return Senator Okowa to Government House in 2019, is achieved.
The newly inaugurated Coordinator of the Ukwuani chapter of Team Ibori for Okowa 2019, Hon. Leonard Echizeme, in his acceptance speech, applauded the state executive of the group for their support so far in working to ensure that Senator Okowa emerge as Governor in 2019.
He promised that they will work day and night to achieve the goal of the group, just as he appealed to the appropriate quarter to make working material available to the group when the time comes.
The newly inaugurated executives includes: Coordinator – Hon. Leonard Echigeme, Secretary -Authentic Ojuwah, Assistant Secretary – Ndudi Ernest, Woman Leader – Nwachukwu Maureen, Financial Secretary – Fidelix Aniekule, Youth Leader – Chukuma Oshiokpu, Provost 1 – Bernard Osaji, Provost 2 – Louis Enubuzor, Director of Mobilization – Atuma Dickson, Treasurer – Onyemachi Okueshike, Media Director – Olise Micheal, Welfare – Ebunu .U. McCarthy and Organizing Secretary – Azubogu Ikechukwu.
