OKPANAM/Nigeria: The newly elected Chairman of Amachai Youths General, Comrade Emmanuel Dinjo Agala, has urged his Kingsmen, especially youths in the area to wholeheartedly embrace initiatives geared towards harnessing their potentials for the overall benefits of not only Amachai Quarters, Okpanam but the society at large.
Comrade Agala, who made the call in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area while fielding questions from newsmen after his election victory recently, thanked his people for their overwhelming support and for believing in his ability to drive Amachai Youths to enviable height.
While saying that his passion to serve his people was aimed at contributing his quota for the socioeconomic growth and development of the society, Comrade Agala stressed the need for every individual to leverage on his or her position to add the much needed value to the society.
The Amachai Youths Chairman General, who enumerated his three points agenda to include the restoration of electricity supply in Amachai, building of a civic centre and training of their youths in skill acquisition/ scholarship to encourage their citizens to embrace education.
Comrade Agala, however, commended the State Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa for the massive transformation in the state in the areas of infrastructure and human capital development, just as he specifically lauded the governor for the impact of Job Creation office.
He appealed to those who contested for one position or the other but could not succeed to join hands with his administration to move Amachai Quarters forward, stressing that they were one family and thus no victor no vanguish.
Comrade Agala, who admonished youths in the area to shun cultism and other nefarious activities in order to make their lives more meaningful.
