SAPELE/Nigeria: The President of Rotary Club Gateway Sapele who also double as Patron of Red House in Chude Girl’s Model Secondary School Sapele, Rotarian Happy Mene has paid an unscheduled visit to the house members thanking them for making him proud by coming first at the school last inter house sports competition.
The patron, who visited the school in company of Mr Daniel Aghwana, the secretary, who also is the nominee president of Gateway Rotary club Sapele appreciated the students of his house for their efforts
Mene who was received by the Vice Principal Mrs Omamuyovwi Opiepie on Special Duties and Mrs Comfort Obeh the school Sports Officer.
Rotarian Mene said he was overwhelmed with the outcome of the house saying for that reason he had decided to reward the students of red house.
The philanthropist gave out N500 each to 138 members of the house with a bottle of soft drink and water.
He also promised to pay the enrollment fees for Eleven SS3 students among them as he is currently sinking borehole in the school premises.
In his speech, the Vice Principal of the school on special Duties Mrs Opiepie thanked the patron for his kind gesture toward the students and the school, the school sport officer Mrs Comfort Obeh gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the house and the school.
