WARRI/Nigeria: A young housewife in Warri who lives with her husband and a male kid in a one room apartment in Ginuwa Road, Warri narrowly escaped being raped by an armed robber in the early hours of last Easter day.
The armed robber was said to have gained entry to the one room apartment and dispossessed the couple of their valuables at gun point.
The armed robber was said to have ordered the house wife to follow him to the backyard of the compound for a sexual purpose but she pleaded that she was under her period to the deaf ears of the sex hungry armed robber.
At this point, the good looking housewife bent down pretended to scratch one of her legs from the bite of an insect, she parked a handful of dry sands from the ground and in the process emptied the sands on the face of the idiotic armed robber and took to her heals while the armed was battling to clear the sands from his eyes.
Meanwhile the husband and child of the gallant housewife had already escaped for safety in the neighboring compound during the unsuccessful sex mission of the armed robber.
It was gathered that the Ginuwa, Igbi , Ometan and Father Harley areas are hot spots for armed bandits.
