UMUTU/Nigeria: The younger brother of the Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly Mr. Felix Ochor has publicly stated that he is back to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He stated this in a meeting during a meeting held by leaders of Ward 1, Umutu in Ukwuani Local Government Area to discuss the way forward for the party in the ward, on Thursday, August 25, 2022.
He stated that whatever pushed him to make that move was never the main agenda that made him visit the former Deputy Speaker, which led to his decision to dump the party, for the main opposition, All Progressive Congress, APC.
He stated that whatever played out and his subsequent display was a mistake, and he had retraced his step to his party, pointing out that he will never do anything to hurt the party.
He stated that he met with his elder brother, Rt. Hon Ochor C. Ochor, whom he holds in high esteem, told him that he will never do anything to hurt his political career and will do anything to ensure the victory of the party in the next general election in 2023.
Reacting to the development, one of the leaders of the party in the ward, Chief Paul Emesiri, welcome him, and admonished the youths of the party in the ward to please be patient, as it’s not too late to be rewarded by the party.
The meeting was attended by the party Executive in the ward, leaders and youths.
It could be recalled that news went viral recently on social media, when Mr. Felix Ochor was shown with Rt. Friday Osanebi and other APC chieftains in Ndokwa, holding broom indicating of his movement to the opposition.
However less than 24 hours, he was with Rt. Hon Ochor Ochor where he explained what happened and appologised for the move.
