Chief Onuesoke stated that most people in governments’ are sycophants, who are there not for the good of the people they were to represent, but rather disrupting the system as they had turned themselves into cabals and clogs in the wheel of development.
The advocate of good governance stressed that governor Okowa in the process of contract award since the inception of his government has reduced the prices of contract awarding drastically.
“Okowa has drastically reduced the cost of contracts in the state, especially when it comes to road, and I can vouch for him, and not others who are in government.”
Chief Onuesoke called on those in government, and elected officers at all level to work towards development of their areas, by building institutions and not embarrassing the people with empowerment which is not their constitutional duties.
“We need to build institution, and not the so called empowerment they every now and then use to confuse the people, which should not be.” He stated.
