I will Fulfil my Promises to You, Okowa Tells Orogun Kingdom

UGHELLI/Nigeria: The Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa has reiterated his commitment to fulfil his promises to the people of Orogun Kingdom in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Governor Okowa made the promise in a meeting with the people of the ancient Orogun community of Aragba at the community town hall on Thursday October 18, 2018.
The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Rt. Hon Ovie Agas stated that Orogun Kingdom is very dear to Governor Okowa’s heart and that the Governor is a man of his words.
“That is why he is called Ekwueme. He will fulfil all the promises made to Orogun Kingdom. The Aragba/Eboh/Obodeti/Otorho Orogun Road will be constructed. The Governor has asked me to give assistance to ten persons each from The Holy Spirit Redeemed Mission Church, Aragba Branch and from Aragba Community.
Earlier, the President General of Orogun Kingdom had stated that the request made to the Governor early last year for the construction of the Aragba/Eboh/Obodeti/Otorho Orogun Road and empowerment of the people of the community is receiving attention as the contractor handling the road project has mobilized to site.
The resident pastor, The Holy Spirit Redeemed Mission Church, Aragba Branch, Alex Atuh, expressed appreciation to Governor Okowa for the gesture, saying that the was a divine and trusted leader.
Pastor Atuh assured that the people of the community and indeed Orogun Kingdom would support and pray for Governor Okowa spiritually and physically in 2019 governorship election.
High point of the occasion was the presentation of cheques of empowerment to the people of Aragba Orogun by Rt. Hon Agas to the President General of the community Barrister (Chief) Ndakara.
Present at the town hall meeting were, HRH Otedo Oniovusa the Okpara Ogwa Sub Clan of Aragba Orogun, the Chairman of Ughelli North Government Council Hon Adodeh, PDP Ughelli North Local Government Area Chief Lawrence Agbatutu, Madam Grace Odiri, Onwueguosia Francis, Comrade Ochuko Akanugba among others.
