ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Government has said the distribution of starter packs to beneficiaries of the Information and Communication Technology Youth Empowerment (ICT-YEP) programme between May and September, 2021 will commence in three senatorial districts of the state from Monday, January 24 to Friday, January 28, 2022.
A statement from the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Mrs Jennifer Adesen, advised beneficiaries from Delta North to converge at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba at 10:30 am for their starter packs.
According to the commissioner, successful beneficiaries from Delta Central would receive their packs at Government House Annex, Warri on Wednesday, January 26 from 10:30 am.
She further stated that those from Delta South would take their turn on Friday, January 28 at the Government House Annex, Warri beginning from 10:30 am.
Mrs Adasen, however, noted that for purpose of clarity, beneficiaries from the local government areas constituting each of the senatorial districts should converge at their specified locations.
The commissioner added that they should come with any means of identification, including national identify card, drivers’ licence or international passport.
She explained that there would be no proxy collection of the packs, adding that beneficiaries should wear white T-shirt, black trouser/ skirt and put on shoes or canvas, and urged them to call GSM numbers: 08100714884 and 09071745610 for enquiries.
