EFFURUN/Nigeria: Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, Dr. Patrick Ighomrore, has congratulated Sylvester Dickson Oghenevwede on his emergence as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Uvwie Local Government Area following the party’s recent local government congresses.
In a statement issued to journalists on Saturday, February 28, 2026, Dr. Ighomrore described Oghenevwede’s emergence as a reflection of the confidence reposed in him by party members, noting that the outcome of the congress signals a renewed commitment to strengthening the APC’s grassroots structure in Uvwie.
He expressed optimism that the new chairman would provide purposeful leadership capable of fostering unity, mobilizing members, and repositioning the party for greater political relevance in the local government and across Delta State.
Dr. Ighomrore also used the occasion to commend the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (SAN), for his leadership role in the affairs of the party, describing his guidance as instrumental in ensuring a smooth and credible congress process.
According to him, Keyamo’s commitment to the growth and stability of the APC in Delta State continues to inspire confidence among party faithful and stakeholders.
