EFFURUN/Nigeria: Hon. Solomon Igrakpata, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Delta State Board of Internal Revenue Services, has called on the newly inaugurated executive members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Uvwie Local Government Area to prioritize the growth and promotion of the party. The advice was given during a courtesy visit by the new executives, led by Hon. Efe Okoledo, following their swearing-in ceremony in Asaba.
In his remarks, the former lawmaker praised the Uvwie PDP executives for their dedication to the party’s ideals and underscored the significance of their roles in maintaining the PDP’s dominance in the local government and throughout Delta State. He stressed the need for the new leadership to work cohesively and uphold the principles that have consistently garnered the trust and support of the people.

“You are the torchbearers of our great party in Uvwie; it is your duty to ensure that the PDP remains strong and continues to deliver on its promises to the electorate,” Igrakpata declared, urging the executives to focus on fostering unity that would further strengthen the party’s presence and influence in the area.

The Uvwie PDP executives, fresh from their inauguration in Asaba, expressed their appreciation for Igrakpata’s guidance and pledged their commitment to advancing the party’s objectives at the grassroots level. The delegation included notable figures such as the Local Government Chairman, Chief Anthony Ofoni, Dr. Patrick Ighomrore, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Development, among other prominent politicians from the area.
