ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has called on Nigerians to remain steadfast in their commitment to building a stronger and more united nation, noting that the country’s economy has recorded significant improvements.

In his Independence Day message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Oborevwori urged citizens to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” and his administration’s “MORE Agenda,” both of which he described as crucial frameworks for improving the living standards of the people.

The governor highlighted ongoing massive infrastructure upgrades in Delta State, a power revolution through renewable energy, and deliberate policies to attract foreign direct investment as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s economy and improve livelihoods.

Oborevwori also appealed to all ethnic groups in Delta to embrace peace and unity, stressing that sustainable development cannot be achieved without stability.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, he assured that his government would continue to pursue policies and programmes that promote progress and prosperity for all Deltans.
