ENUGU/Nigeria: The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has commenced the sale of its housing estate to members of the Enugu Depot Community as well as the general public.
Speaking on the development, Mr. Chinedu Anyaso, Chairman of IPMAN Enugu Zone overseeing Anambra, Ebonyi, and Enugu States, said the estate, known as the IPMAN Estate within the Blossom Estate Project, was initiated to enable members to access affordable and genuine land.
Located at Trans Ekwulu Golf Annex in Enugu, the estate is also open to non-IPMAN members interested in acquiring property in one of the state’s emerging city areas.
Anyaso said the initiative was a response to the rising cost of housing and the challenges faced by many Nigerians in securing affordable accommodation. He explained that the project is being executed in collaboration with the Enugu State Housing Corporation and the Ministry of Lands, assuring that allocations are made promptly upon payment.
“Shelter is a basic need of man, and pressure is getting much on the people, especially those in urban areas. Rent is hitting the rooftops, and acquiring cheap and genuine land is a major problem,” he stated.
“That is why, as a body, IPMAN decided to collaborate with the Enugu State government to secure a genuine, affordable, and choice estate for our members across the Enugu Depot Community. The estate is also open to non-members who are desirous of having a house of their own. Beyond that, it is a very lucrative investment opportunity for those who want to bank their money in tangible terms.”
He clarified that while IPMAN is in charge of sales, allocations are conducted directly by the Enugu State Government through the State Housing Authority.
