Mosogar: Nigerians has been called to dedicate their time, energy and resources to know God, as he is the true source of man’s existence.
This call is made by the Executive Director, Social Services Development on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (DESOPADEC), Hon Ochor Chris Ochor, on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at First Baptist Church Mosogar, Ethiope west Local Government Area.
Hon Ochor, who was speaking as the chairman of the 10th Year Anniversary of Reverend Tom Akponovwe, said that in our lives, we find it difficult to situate God for what he does for mankind, and as such we hardly appreciate him.
He said lack of appreciating God makes many of us to see God as Mr God, but for those who Know God, they call him, God the Father.
“Many of us especially those who does not acknowledge God in their life call him, Mr God, while those who knows what he is to them and the entire human race, call him God the Father.” He said.
Hon Ochor, while congratulating Reverend Akponorovwe for his steadfast in the vineyard of God for ten years, called on Nigerians to always put God first in their works and deeds, and learn him, and at the end will know him, saying that when Nigerians know him, the various prayers been offered for the positive development of the country will be achieved.
“When we put God first, and learn to know him, our various prayers for the development of the country will be answered by God.” He concluded.
