ASABA/Nigeria: In a last minute rush to hold on to its supporters who have pledged to vote for the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in this Saturday’s elections, the Intellectual Think Tank for Atiku (ITTA) is set to organise road shows in Delta State.
The Delta State Deputy Coordinator of the political pressure group, Sir Charles Nwabuzor made the disclosure in Asaba while assessing the progress made by the group and the level of preparedness for the elections.
According to him, “it is a thing of joy that most Nigerians have accepted to vote for someone who reasons, someone who discuss intelligently and someone who will turn the country around progressively in the person of our former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, a man who is physically and mentally fit to be our President.”
“It is like a whirlwind, all over Nigeria, the people are clamouring for Alhaji Abubakar, members of ITTA have received favourable reports, we have gone round, sensitizing Nigerians to vote for all the candidates of the PDP and on Thursday, we shall embark on a road show to further cement what we have started, because, it is our collective decision to vote for all the candidates of the PDP in this Saturday and March 2 elections,” Sir Nwabuzor said.
He continued, “we have mobilised Nigerians, we have sensitized them, but, the greatest of it all is that Alhaji Abubakar is a good product, the best candidate for Nigerian presidency and our Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has performed excellently well, so, the PDP is parading an array of marketable candidates that Nigerians, Deltans are comfortable with; our Deputy National Woman Leader, Lady May Inije is working very hard to ensure that the PDP records victory in all the elections.”
“I expect all Deltans, journalists to come out on Thursday and join us in the road show; for that of Asaba, we shall move from the Abraka Park and we have all made necessary arrangements to have a successful road show because, it is PDP all the way,” the ITTA Deputy State Coordinator stated.
