Asaba: Nigerians has been called to always appreciate God, through thanksgiving in every situation they find themselves.
This was the Sunday message by the pastor of the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG) Delta Province 3, Asaba, Pastor Olutomi Sodeinde last Sunday in the thanksgiving service held in the church.
The pastor who spoke on the topic, “Thanksgiving”, with reference to the book of Psalm, 100:1-5, urged members to learn how to appreciate God in every situation they found themselves, as only the living creature is permitted to praise God and not the dead.
He reminded the congregation that if man refuses to praise God, He with his infinity mercy will raise up stones to praise him.
Speaking further, Pastor Sodeinde warned man on self praise, as he said is against the will of God, whom our existence rest on God.
“Stop self appraisal and put your trust in God, because your existence is solely on His grace”. He said.
“You as a man should not by any means be proud of your achievements or success here on earth for everything belongs to God”.
He further referred the congregation to Psalm 127:1 where God admonished man.
