UGHELLI/Nigeria: The State Coordinator of Team Ibori for Okowa 2019, Hon. Edmond Guanah, has commended the State Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Barr. Kingsley Esiso, for delivering the 25 local government Chairmen and PDP Councilors cut across the state at the last local government election.
He said that the feat shows that Barr. Esiso is capable and competent to deliver the state Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, in the 2019 general election.
Hon. Guanah made these observations during a meeting held at the country home of an Ambassador of the group, Prince Sony Ogbon, at Ogoni Olomu in Ughelli South local government area were some All Progressives Congress (APC) youths from Effurun-Otor and Ovwor led by Mr. Steamer Usiaphe who are intending to defect from APC to PDP via Team Ibori for Okowa 2019 were present.
He said Barr. Esiso is like an elder brother who he has lived with in Sapele for so many years and knows him to be a grassroot mobiliser and interacts with all level of persons in the society.
The State Coordinator told them to feel free to come back to their original home “the PDP family” for they will be accommodated as one family and not treated like aliens, adding that with Barr. Esiso piloting the affair of PDP in the state, the victory of Senator Okowa in 2019 is guaranteed.
In his response, the Leader of the APC group, Mr. Steamer Usiaphe, said that they are coming back to work for the PDP fully together with Team Ibori for Okowa 2019 and make sure Senator Okowa wins in the next Governorship election in the state.
