KWALE/Nigeria: The Onicha-Ukwuani Movement for Good Governance have pledged their unflinching and absolute support for Hon (Barr.) Ifeanyi Chris Osakwe the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chairmanship candidate in Ndokwa-West Local Government Area in the January 6, 2017 local government election in the state.
NdokwaReporters gathered shortly after a meeting with the Chairmanship Candidate,from one of the leaders of the group, Comr. Ekene Enebeli Precious, that the group decided to support him not just because he is the best man for the job but because of his people’s oriented plans and programmes in the coming dispensation which he has unveiled to the good people of Ndokwa-West.
According to him, “the meeting was basically for us (Onicha-Ukwuani Movement for Good Governance) to pledged our support for Hon (Barr.) Ifeanyi Chris Osakwe’s ambition and to encourage him to carry the youths in the local government a long. We equally suggested possible ways we can make his government successful in spite of financial quagmire besieging local government councils in the country,” he said.
Comr. Ekene also added that Hon Osakwe assured the group and the good people of Ndokwa-West Local Government that if voted in, his administration will be an all inclusive and all encompassing one for everyone.
Meanwhile, the group have called on all eligible voters in the local government to come out enmasse on January 6, 2018 and vote for Hon Osakwe.
Comr. Oge Ugbolome who spoke with NdokwaReporters expressed the group’s gratitude to the Delta State Governor, Sen. (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa for what he described as the even distribution of political appointments across the 25 local governments, and for his infrastructural development and human capital development projects in the state.
Also, the group appreciated the Chairman, Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, Chief (Sir) Onyeme Monday for his role in the preparation for the campaign of the PDP in Ndokwa-West local government even as they prayed God to continue to bless him.
