LGA Election: PDP Ukwuani Chairmanship Candidate Proposes Three (3) Point Agenda

OBIARUKU/Nigeria: As preparation for the Delta State Local Government Election draws closer, the People democratic Party, PDP, in Ukwuani Local Government had taking parade of strength through the local government headquarter, Obiaruku in what seemed a parade of intimidation and unity of purpose on the ability of the party to win the forthcoming  January 6, 2018 election.

The rally which was attended by most party leaders in the LGA and councillorship candidates of the 16 wards in the LGA, women and youths started from the home of the Chairmanship candidate, Chief Chukwudi Dafe, took the party faithfuls to the home of the traditional ruler of Ogbe Obiaruku Quarter, where they met with the traditional council and he was giving a royal blessing, this was repeated at the palace of the Okpala-Uku General of Obiaruku.

Speaking at the different venues, Chief Dafe promised the people of Ukwuani speedy development, especially in Obiaruku, where the security situation had degenerated to an unbearable level of recent.

Dafe, who said he is embarking on a rescue mission in Ukwuani, said that if voted in as the chairman, the security of the area will be one of his main priorities as he will ensure that the people of Ukwuani will go to bed with their two eyes closed.

“I would leave no stone unturned to see that you will sleep well, as you will go to bed with you two eyes closed”. He said.

“My Government will fish out all criminal elements in the LGA”.

The candidate, who was one time chairman of the council, listed other areas as his agenda, which includes youths, women development and all inclusive development of the LGA.
