KWALE/Nigeria: Some unidentified persons had been reportedly on 4 November, 2019, attacked one Ibrahim Abubakar, a herdsman in a bush behind Pilar Oil Company in Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area. Narrating his ordeal to Ndokwa Reporters Online who visited Brema hospital in Kwale, he said he was attacked by armed men who appeared with masked faces, at about 10:30am.
The victim narrated his ordeal, stated that the unknown gunmen came when he was lying down in their camp in the described location when two young men on mask accosted him, demanding for a new motorcycle his boss bought for him.
In response to their demands, he told the unknown gunmen that his boss didn’t buy any motorcycle for him let alone knowing what they are talking about.
At this point, the hoodlums shot him on his foot near his ankle so as to enable him open up to them, while he was screening in pains, they gave him another shot but unfortunately missed their target and they ran away.
He added that before the hoodlums left, they ransacked their hut and took away his tecno phone, his mp3, a new jean trouser and a T-shirt.
Reacting to the incident, one Alhaji Ilu Abubakar, who also narrated his own part of the story, and his experiences on that same area in Kwale.
Alhaji Ilu Abubakar thanked God for saving his boy from the shackles of death while stating that on 3rd of Nov, he actually collected a new motorcycle from his brother and used it to visit Ellu in Isoko-north LGA and later returned the motorcycle to his brother the same day after riding it for that day.
Alhaji Ilu added that the hoodlums might have seen him on a new motorcycle and they may be thinking that he has bought a new motorcycle for his boys in the bush, then decided to launch attack to one of his boys.
He also said that he was personally attacked early this year in the same area where his boy was attacked, seriously beaten and injured, that then a new motorcycle he just bought within three days, was snatched away from him.
Ibrahim’s Boss added that the attackers of his boy could be the same set of boys that once attacked him and stole his new motorcycle in the first quarter of this year.
