“Your elevation was not a surprise. Back in your days in the first Indigenous University in Nigeria, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, you had shown love towards humanity. You rallied the then, Bendelites, later Deltans for the social welfare of their co-students.”

The statement further stated that as a lecturer in the Delta State University, Abraka, and a former Secretary to the Ukwuani Council that he should use his past experience to ensure that the dividend of democratic development is achieved from his office.

“You had been appointed to the office of Social Services Development in the commission, it means your duty and activities will create and impact on the oil bearing communities of the commission mandate area. And we know you have that capacity. And you have to do your best, no matter the possible obstacles. As a graduate of university of Nigeria, you are a Lion, and you have to contribute to the positive liberation of the poor, the aged, and those who are within the area through your policy contributions.”

The statement further appreciated the immediate occupant of the office, who is now a candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the Ukwuani constituency Seat, in the 2019 Assembly Elections, Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor.

“The immediate Occupant of that office was your brother from Ukwuani, who represented the people of Ndokwa, and the entire DESOPADEC mandate areas to the best of his capacity. The job is taunting, all you need is patience.”
