Many Things Have Gone Wrong in Delta North and We Need To Put Them Right – Amb. Oyibode

AGBOR/Nigeria: A foremost Delta North senatorial aspirant for 2019 general elections, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Dr Amb. Gabriel Chukwuma Etaoghenevwegba Oyibode has said that many things have gone wrong within Delta North Senatorial District and collectively the Anioma sons and daughters, and things need to be put right.

Amb. Oyibode made this statement in Agbor, while consulting with APC chairman for Ika North East, Hon. Sunny Onye Jose. He stressed that the enormous problems and challenges the Anioma Nation is experiencing are as a result of Mismanagement of our Common Patrimony by previous and present elected politicians.

“Our brothers and sisters whom have been elected into political offices have not represented the interest of the Anioma people by paying rapt attentions to our social, political and economic needs as a nation, rather their main preoccupations is to enrich themselves and their immediate families. They have failed us but there is still hope and chance for a better Anioma if we can get it right in the forthcoming general elections by voting trustworthy and workaholic sons and daughters into elected offices at both federal and state government levels, Amb. Oyibode said.

He highlighted some of the problems and challenges bedevilling the senatorial district, stressing that the problem of erosions, health care system, unemployment/joblessness, insecurity, roads, and unequal representation will become history if he is given the opportunity to serve as a senator representing the good people of Anioma nation.  “I know very well we are rich in oil and gas but there is no evidence to show that we are from an oil producing community or region.

“To defend our people and integrity, we need a man who is vibrant, eloquent, capable to make Anioma to be known among other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria and the world at large. We need a man who can attract and influence uncommon developments to our people and also create meaningful jobs for our overwhelming population. We need a voice; and I need to give my people voice! Here am I, send me and I will never disappoint you, Amb. Oyibode said.

“I need your support and endorsement, so that I will go and represent the interest of our good people at the red chambers. We have hope for better tomorrow because APC is on rescue mission to salvage Delta State from the dilapidated and penury condition we have found ourselves, Amb. Oyibode further stated.

The APC chairman for Ika North East, Hon. Sunny Onye Jose in his remark, described Amb. Oyibode as a man who has all it takes to restructure the Anioma nation if given the opportunity. He went further to say that Amb. Oyibode has done well by contributing his own quota to growth and development of this country.

“We have heard and read a lot about you! Your philanthropical works speak volumes for you. You are a good man and we urge you to continue the good works you have began and we pray that Almighty God will see you through, Hon. Onye said.
