IDUMUJE-UGBOKO/Nigeria: Dr. Michael Nwoko, Chief of Staff to Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko, has hailed the recent All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Delta North as a historic and overwhelming demonstration of the party’s rising strength and support in the region.
Speaking after the event, Dr. Nwoko expressed delight at the turnout, describing it as unprecedented in Delta North’s political history.
“In the history of political gatherings in Delta North, we have never seen this kind of turnout. I’m so elated and overwhelmed,” he said.
Initially planned for 2,000 constituents, the meeting drew over 5,000 supporters, with many standing outside due to limited space. Dr. Nwoko said this reflected the people’s growing confidence in Senator Nwoko’s leadership and the APC’s appeal.
He noted that the rally, convened by the Delta North APC chairman and hosted by Senator Nwoko, clearly signaled the senator’s surging popularity ahead of 2027.
“This is a vote of confidence, and it is very clear that Senator Ned Nwoko will return in 2027,” Dr. Nwoko declared, urging continued unity and solidarity within the party.
