The exercise, held at the community town hall, attracted a diverse cross-section of the population, including elderly men and women, youths and other stakeholders, marking a significant departure from previous elections with relatively lower participation.
An electoral committee chaired by Hon. Ambrose Emu, with Mr. Cyril Emu as Secretary, alongside members Mr. Benjamin Ozegbe, Mr. Ozioma Osele and Mr. Chukwunalu Prince Okolugo, supervised the process, ensuring adherence to laid-down guidelines.

The process also drew attention from neighbouring communities, as representatives from about three quarters in Ebedei reportedly attended to observe and understudy the conduct of the election.
Stakeholders described the exercise as a model for grassroots democracy, expressing optimism that the newly elected leaders would consolidate unity and drive development initiatives within the community.
